Pro Options

This programme is optional and replaces the regular Sports & Leisure programme on several afternoons. It involves 6 hours per week of professional tuition in a range of sports and is designed to increase studentsโ€™ skills, techniques, and knowledge of their chosen option.


We have different pro options to choose from

Aviation Simulator
Enabling students to test if they have what it takes to pilot a complex airliner. Training is carried out in a state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 Flight Simulator under the expert guidance of a qualified flight instructor.

Gymnastics

Focusing on developing strength and flexibility, improving balance and coordination, and refining fundamental gymnastics skills, all while building confidence.

Horse Riding

Including stable management, animal welfare and horse preparation as well as increasing riding ability and confidence. More advanced students can also learn how to jump.

Strength & Conditioning
Designed to build strength, stamina, and agility, while improving movement technique and coordination. Students take part in structured exercises that enhance fitness, confidence, and resilience.

Golf
Covering all aspects of the game including pitching and chipping, bunker play, putting and the long games, as well as course management, the rules of golf and etiquette. Students experience playing on a golf course.

Tennis
Focusing on improving technique through better stance, building greater power into strokes and improving shot selection, alongside improving consistency.

Different Pro Options are available at different locations and for different courses.

Sample 1.5 hour session: Tennis

Performance testing:
Strength, reflexes, speed, agility and stamina (30 mins).

Technical training:
Working on playersโ€™ positioning, improving shot selection and building greater power into strokes as well as improving consistency. (50 mins).

Injury Prevention Workshop:
Useful tips on how to prevent common tennis injuries through stretching, rolling and selecting the correct footwear (10 mins).
